We have been to Costa Rica three times, gradually discovering the country. These pictures come from our 2013 trip, and include us visiting the archeological site at Guayabo, Tortuguero, and studying wildlife in and around the Selva Verde Lodge near Saraquipi, where I enjoyed being inside a centuries-old almond tree now occupied by bats. We also got a break in the clouds to have a brief look into Poas Volcano.
